Jan 23: Kiwi Update
Two Years Post-Injury
On February 10th 2010, Fluid co-founder Kyle Eade "Kiwi" broke his neck during training in New Zealand. Although he has been back coaching at Fluid for awhile, he is still working relentlessly to gain more recovery and has just finished two intensive weeks at Project Walk in California.
The world's best water-skiers are gathering in Australia for the next few weeks as the pro season kicks off for 2012. With the completion of the Australian Open and the Last Chance Qualifer over the past couple of weekends, this weekend everyone will battle it out on the Yarra River in Melbourne at Moomba. Keep checking here for updates and results or check out the official tournament web-site at www.moombamasters.com.au.
Following Moomba is the Western Australia World Cup and the Perth Night Jump.

April: 2012 Tournament Season Underway!

Neilly Ross 6160 (G2 Canada), Natalia Berdnikava 9740 (OW Belarus), Martin Bartalsky 5 @ 10.75m (OM Slovakia), Alex King 53.2m (B3 New Zealand) & Jimmy Jeong 58.7m (OM Korea) . . . congrats to everyone skiing so well early in 2012!
Now that we are into summer skiing most of us want to coast on the fitness gains we have made during our winter/spring months. When it comes to training physiology, the hard truth is that we need to exercise – always. Some training effects start to diminish in as little as 3 days! What to do....
US Team Trials: Training Schedule
Although training for the Team Trials was designated on a first come, first serve basis, we have tried to accommodate everyone who contacted us. Thursday and Friday are fully booked but we still have availability Monday through Wednesday.
It is a big weekend in Polk City as the American Water Ski Educational Foundation hosts the annual Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. Included in the festivities is the Golf Fundraiser and the John Roach Memorial Tournament.
