World renown coach and our close friend, Ray Stokes, passed away December 3rd after a long courageous battle against cancer. Ray is survived by his two sons, John and Fred, and lives on in our hearts, his contributions to the sport and in his innovative ski products at www.stokesskis.com . . . he will be sorely missed.

Fluid to Host 2012 US Team Trials
We are pleased to announce that on June 30th/July 1st the US Team Trials is coming to Fluid! The best Juniors and Under 21 skiers in the country will be competing at Lake Grew to make their respective National teams. Additionally, we will be hosting a full 2 round 3 event record tournament for all other divisions the same weekend.

Jan 23: Kiwi Update
Two Years Post-Injury
On February 10th 2010, Fluid co-founder Kyle Eade "Kiwi" broke his neck during training in New Zealand. Although he has been back coaching at Fluid for awhile, he is still working relentlessly to gain more recovery and has just finished two intensive weeks at Project Walk in California.
After several years of the jumpskis, Jimmy Siemers has been back flying high at Fluid getting ready to compete in Australia. Click on more to read about his return to jumping.
The world's best water-skiers are gathering in Australia for the next few weeks as the pro season kicks off for 2012. With the completion of the Australian Open and the Last Chance Qualifer over the past couple of weekends, this weekend everyone will battle it out on the Yarra River in Melbourne at Moomba. Keep checking here for updates and results or check out the official tournament web-site at www.moombamasters.com.au.
Following Moomba is the Western Australia World Cup and the Perth Night Jump.

US Team Trials: Training Schedule
Although training for the Team Trials was designated on a first come, first serve basis, we have tried to accommodate everyone who contacted us. Thursday and Friday are fully booked but we still have availability Monday through Wednesday.
After some great skiing this past weekend on Lake Grew the Under 17 and 17-20 US Teams were selected for the Junior World Championships and the Pan-Am Championships. Team Members

The 2013 pro ski season gets underway in a few weeks in Australia. Marion Mathieu was the top ranked pro womens jumper in 2012 and picked up 4 major titles along the way.
It is a big weekend in Polk City as the American Water Ski Educational Foundation hosts the annual Hall of Fame Induction ceremony. Included in the festivities is the Golf Fundraiser and the John Roach Memorial Tournament.
